Why did Urban Meyer join Twitter?

How did Bob Stoops convince him to finally sign up? We investigate.

Urban Meyer joined Twitter this week. You’re probably already following him.

Frankly, it seems like an odd time for him to finally register an account. You’d think his sole focus would be handling the many responsibilities that come with coaching a Division I football team with BCS aspirations, and that he’d save social media experimentation for the offseason. It must’ve taken a pretty persuasive person to convince him to sign up now – someone like his wife, Shelley, or OSU Interim President Joseph Alutto.
