'14 ATH Noah Brown gave his commitment to Ohio State late last night, bringing the class of 2014 to 18 total commitments. Brown quickly got to work, helping to recruit other high-profile athletes to try and entice top players to join him in adding to the Dream 14, starting with '14 JUCO OL Chad Mavety:
RT @nb_dosuno: @chadmavety55 you know what to do bro ....come join me

Ohio State fans weren't the only one excited about Brown's commitment however, as '14 QB commit Stephen Collier had plenty of good things to say about the 4-star athlete:
Stephen Collier on Brown's commitment "Noah is going to be awesome to play with! Big, physical & fast. Doesn't get better" #OhioState

It's been a busy past couple of days for the Ohio State recruiting staff as Monday brought the end of the NCAA's "quiet" period. Coaches can now contact recruits, etc. and the Buckeyes have been taking full advantage while also preparing for California. The Buckeyes hosted plenty of recruits for the San Diego State game, and the majority of that coverage can be found in Monday's version of State Secrets. Ohio State also hosted '15 QB/TE Austin Dorris, who spoke with LGHL's very own Charles Doss about his visit to Columbus:
The visit was great! A few things that stood out to me was the crowd, the atmosphere, the band, that stuff means a lot to me in making my decision, because it's great to know that people are as psyched about the sport as you are. Another thing that stuck out was the Coach's and assistant recruiter's hospitality, they really made me feel at home.
I spoke with Coach Warinner a good bit, he came to my school and talked with me before, and I've talked to him at the OSU camp this summer, so we're pretty well acquainted. The Buckeye football atmosphere is second to none, walking out onto the field with 108,000+ going crazy would be the best feeling of my life, and I can hope that one day I'm gonna have that feeling
Dorris plays at quarterback for Shadyside, but is being recruited as a tight end by Ohio State. Check out his highlights below:
'14 LB Raekwon McMillan has been a top target for Ohio State since the beginning of his recruitment, and it's easy to understand why. McMillan is no doubt one of the most talented linebackers in the class of 2014, and the Georgia-native recently gave an update on where schools stand:
McMillan is set to make his official visit to Ohio State on October 26th.
White Station senior linebacker Petera Wilson says he's picking from Ohio St, Miami, Fla St, LSU, Ole Miss, and Ga. this Friday.

'14 LB Petera Wilson will be making his selection this Friday as to which school will lay claim to his services. The schools left in contention for Wilson are Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State and Ole Miss. It's not expected that Wilson will select the Buckeyes, but Charles has predicted Ole Miss in the Crystal Ball. Memphis was thought to be the previous favorite, but because his family doesn't believe that is the place for him, they were dropped from his list.
