While Ohio State prepares for Florida A&M, the recruiting hustle never ends for the Buckeye coaching staff. With only a week to go until the huge Wisconsin game (in more ways then one) plenty of recruiting news is flying around. Columbus will be hosting a bevy of recruits next weekend, but a few are showing up this weekend.
One of those recruits is '15 RB Larry "LJ" Scott who is making the trip to Ohio State this weekend. Scott, a 6'0", 205 running back out of Hubbard, Ohio is ranked as the seventh best running back in the country for the class of 2015, and the seventh best prospect overall out Ohio. In 2012, Scott carried the ball 168 times for 1,614 yards and 23 touchdowns. Scott also provided versatility in the passing game, hauling in 14 receptions for 209 yards. Scott does not yet hold an offer from Ohio State, but that could certainly change in the near future.
To the horseshoe this weekend! O-H-I-O!

The other recruit visiting is '14 WR/S Kyle Frizzell. Frizzell is a 6'1", 180-pound wide receiver that also plays defensive back on the other side of the ball. You may not have heard much about Frizzell before, due to his being injured all of last season with a broken leg. While Frizzell doesn't have an offer from Ohio State, it doesn't deter him away from trying to get noticed by the Buckeyes and other big programs.
Check out his highlights here:
The Buckeyes did send out one offer on Monday, when they contacted '17 ATH Richard LeCounte out of Hinesville, Georgia. LeCounte only has one offer to this point from Florida, but it's obviously extremely early in his recruiting process but that's two BCS-level programs now that have offered him. LeCounte is 6'1", 175-pounds as a freshman in high school and already has the backing of top '14 LB Raekwon McMillan:
My teammate and lil bro @LilEasy_35 just got offered by Ohio State !!! #BuckeyeNation y'all give my man a follow . 2017 ATH

Our Charles Doss caught up with the newest Ohio State offeree to get his thoughts on what it's like to receive an offer from Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes despite being just a freshman in high school:
I found out about the offer while on the phone with Urban Meyer. It's great to just have this chance and when I think of Ohio State, I think of winners.
Those conversation with coach Meyer and Hinton are priceless ⭕

'15 OL Drew Richmond has obviously been in contact with Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and Tim Hinton about possibly bringing his talents to Columbus. The 6'5", 300-pound offensive tackle hails from Memphis, Tennessee and already has offers from top programs such as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and many more.
Check out highlights of Richmond here:
In basketball news, Thad Matta has continued scouting players and keeping up to date on the latest prospects. As of late, the Buckeyes have reportedly checked in on '15 C Doral Moore who checks in at 6'11", 215-pounds and has had schools like Maryland, Georgia Tech, Texas, South Carolina and Illinois all come in to scout Moore. In addition to Moore, the Buckeyes are also going to drop by and watch Cordia '14 F Malik Hines sometime today to see how he shapes up on the court.
