Ohio State vs. Florida A&M score update: Kenny Guiton sets record, 55-0 OSU

The second quarter didn't have quite the fireworks as the first, but the Ohio State defense continued to dominate, setting up the offense with great field position. Kenny Guiton became the all-time Buckeye record holder for passing TDs in a game.

The Buckeye defense continued to look fresh as they forced yet another 3-and-out to begin the 2nd quarter. The Rattlers were forced to punt which gave the Buckeyes possession inside the Rattler's 40 yard line.

Florida A&M had the Buckeye O backed into a 3rd and long, but another penalty gave Ohio State new life as a holding penalty delegated an interception.  The very next play, Jordan Hall took the Florida A&M defense, along with the referee, for a 17 yard ride en route to the end zone extending the Buckeye lead to 41.

On yet another possession with great field possession, just on the other side of the 50, Urban Meyer and the Buckeye offense continued to impose their will.  Carlos Hyde added rushes of 11 and 21 yards to move into the red zone and Kenny Guiton found Chris Fields in the back of the end zone for a 16 yard touchdown.  With that touchdown, Kenny Guiton tied a school record for touchdown passes in a single game.

With five minutes left in the second, FAMU picked up their first, first down of the game. Damien Fleming could not continue the success and punted, pinning the Buckeyes deep in their own territory.   Rod Smith scampered 27 yards to put the Buckeyes in business as Kenny Guiton took over the 2 minute drill with time winding down.  With 5 seconds left on the clock, Guiton found Evan Spencer for yet another TD, setting a Buckeye record for touchdown passes in a game.
