LGHL Top 25 Week 5: Michigan drops five spots after narrowly escaping upset

The Michigan Wolverines struggled to get things going for a second straight week, dropping them five spots, but were able to escape Connecticut with a win.

If it was any indication of the quality of games this weekend, look no further then College Gameday heading to North Dakota and hosting the show for the back-to-back FCS champions North Dakota State. Much of the poll didn't see much change, but we did see the Wolverines drop five spots after a second close shave, this time coming against UConn in a 28-24 win.

Baylor had 70 points in the third quarter, and obviously impressed our writers with their 70-7 smashing, moving them up three positions to No. 14. Fresno State is 3-0 after edging Boise State 41-40, and makes the LGHL top 25 for the first time this season. Looking at their schedule, they have the opportunity to go undefeated, which might turn out to be your BCS-buster in the BCS era.
