Ohio State football: Kenny Guiton shares Big Ten Player of the Week

Following a thorough 73-0 dismantling of Florida A&M, Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton has been recognized for the second straight week as the Big Ten Player of the Week. Guiton shares the honor with Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon. Guiton threw a school-record six touchdown passes in the blowout win, and went 24/34 for 215 yards. Guiton only played the first half, which makes it even more impressive, although came in for the injured Cardale Jones later on in the game.

Guiton helped spread the love, as he connected with five different receivers on his six touchdown throws, including his second to Evan Spencer with 13 seconds left in the first half to set the program record. Keep in mind this was Guiton's second start as he fills in for the injured Braxton Miller. It's unsure right now if Miller or Guiton will get the start on Saturday in a highly anticipated match-up against Wisconsin.
