Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 9/3 - Anthony McKee, Noah Brown updates

The Buckeyes were hard at work on Labor Day, as they made contact with plenty of recruits, and set up a couple of visits.

The work never stops for the Ohio State coaching staff, as the Buckeyes offered '15 WR Preston Williams earlier this week. Charles covered his offer in Monday's edition of State Secrets, but for a little more on Williams, he has an impressive offer list that includes: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, UNC, Oklahoma State, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Williams has qualified for the state track meets in the past in the triple and long jump events. Williams also was active in making his rounds in the football summer camps and will continue to attract attention from the best programs across the country.

Williams checks in at 6'4", 185-pounds and currently has Tennessee as his leader. I think it will be pretty tough to lure Williams away from SEC territory, but if anyone can do it, it would be this coaching staff. Be sure to check out Williams' highlights below:

'14 4-star ATH/RB Noah Brown made it known that he will be making his official visit to Ohio State this weekend, for the San Diego State game. Brown and the Buckeyes have been in constant contact and coach Meyer offered Brown on May 9th. The 247 Crystal Ball gives Ohio State the highest percentage to land Brown thus far (57% of the votes).

'15 LB Anthony McKee told Land-Grant Holy Land's Charles Doss that he will be visiting Ohio State this weekend for the San Diego State game, joining the aforementioned Noah Brown. The 6'2", 190-pound outside linebacker has offers from Arkansas, Bowling Green, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee, among others.

'15 WR/TE Miles Boykin spoke to the Ohio State coaching staff today, according to Core 6 Athletes. The 4-star comes in at 6'5", 208-pounds but runs an eye-popping 4.44 40-yard dash, which for his size is pretty incredible. When Core 6 says they expect his offer list to blow up, I have to agree with them. While he doesn't have an offer just yet, expect the Buckeyes to join the likes of Illinois, Michigan State, Toledo and Western Michigan as schools that have offered scholarships.

'15 TE C.J. Conrad spoke with Land-Grant Holy Land's own Adam Waters about Ohio State Monday night and told him that he had a great conversation with Coach Meyer. Conrad doesn't have an offer from the Buckeyes just yet, but it's very early in the process. Ranked as the fourth-best TE in the country and the eighth-best prospect overall in the state of Ohio, Conrad holds offers from Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Toledo.
