Ohio State stays at 2nd in USA Today Coaches Poll Top 25

Despite falling a spot in the AP Top 25, the Buckeyes remain were they were in the Coaches Poll.

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

After opening the season second in the inaugural USA Today Coaches Poll Top 25, after an up-and-down showing against the MAC's University of Buffalo, Ohio State found themselves remain static staying in the second spot for a second consecutive week.

The Buckeyes had three first place votes in the polls' first week and maintained that total despite failing to cover the 35-point spread against the Bulls.

Joining Ohio State in the poll are #17 Michigan, who even in light of their impressive Week 1 victory over Central Michigan failed to move up from where they were last week, #19 Nebraska, who fell only one spot in the Coaches Poll despite falling four spots in the AP, #20 Northwestern, who moved up two spots after an impressive West Coast road win over Cal, and #21 Wisconsin, who's sound win over UMass moved them up two spots. Michigan State also received votes.
