Our long national nightmare is over. Ohio State's losing streak ended with their 62-55 victory over Illinois, stopping the bleeding and their free fall through the Big Ten standings and mock brackets everywhere. Many questions still remain though. Can the Buckeyes cut down on the turnovers? Can they score enough points to finish games against the best in the league? Can the team's younger members grow up in time?
Some of those answers might come tonight, when the Buckeyes tangle with the Penn State Nittany Lions, one of the struggling teams in the Big Ten. If Ohio State's trip to Nebraska taught us anything though, it's that a hungry team near the bottom of the B1G table is still dangerous enough to cause problems for the Scarlet and Gray, especially with one with as talented a backcourt as Penn State. The Nittany Lions have yet to win a road game outside the state of Pennsylvania though, and Columbus would be a tough place to grab their first.
Before the game, make sure you get smart, and read our preview, so you'll know everything to need to expect before tip off. Then make sure to join us in the comment thread below.
The quest for some real momentum in league play starts tonight. Go Bucks.
