Watch this: Marshon Lattimore commits to Ohio State

Watch video of Marshon Lattimore becoming the 21st member of Ohio State's outstanding 2014 recruiting class.

Though Cleveland Glenville teammate Erick Smith had let the cat out of the bag two quarters earlier, 4-star DB/ATH Marshon Lattimore joined his close friend in committing to Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes during the 4th quarter of the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. In the process, Lattimore becomes the 21st member of the "Dream 14" recruiting class for Mark Pantoni & team and the 22nd Glenville Tarblooder to announce for Ohio State (pending finality to the still somewhat nebulous recruitment of OG/C Marcelys Jones).

Though there was some speculation in the lead up to Saturday's Army Bowl festivities that Kentucky or maybe even Michigan might sneak in to the mix for the talented athlete, once Smith decided to have his commitment ceremony after all, there was little doubt the duo wouldn't end up in the fold for the Buckeyes' defense.

NBC Sports' announcers (who granted weren't exactly always on-point) spoke to Lattimore possibly wanting to play some offense while a Buckeye in addition to his defensive duties, and he certainly has the skill set to the do so. Though corner is most likely where he'll end up when everything's said and done, Lattimore could flip over to the offense if need be and could also make a heck of a corner if that's what personnel ultimately necessitates.
