The Buckeyes are already in the running for a lot of the top players in the 2015 recruiting class and one of them is Orlando (FL) Timber Creek running back/athlete Jacques Patrick, who narrowed his impressive offer list that included over 50 scholarship offers from some of the nation's top college to ten schools last night. Ohio State is one of the teams who made the cut for the number 68 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the 2015 recruiting class.
Joining the Buckeyes in his top ten are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Central Florida.

As things currently stand, odds are pretty good that Patrick will stay in the state of Florida to play his college football. Florida and Florida State are probably the favorites to land his commitment right now. Michigan and Ohio State are thought to be the only two programs that can pull the 6-foot-2-inch, 200 pound athlete from out of the south.
The running back visited Ohio State in October when the Buckeyes took on Penn State and had very good things to say about the visit once it was over.
"I arrived Saturday morning," he said. "When I first got onto campus, I hung out with Coach Meyer for an hour or so, then Coach Drayton came and took me to the stadium. He was talking to me about the tradition of the Ohio State program. I got to watch the walkthroughs, sit in the team meeting before the game, and watch Coach Meyer give a great speech before the game. Then I got to go onto the field before the game started. It was fun watching the Buckeyes put a whooping on Penn State, the atmosphere was unreal."--- Patrick to LGHL in October
Patrick, who is one of the best athletes in the 2015 class, plays running back in high school, but could make the move to receiver at the next level.
We'll make sure to keep a close on on this recruitment and any future visit plans the star athlete may have in mind. You can check out his highlights below:
