Urban Meyer and his staff have done an excellent job pulling some of the nation's top talent from the south and SEC country over the past couple of recruiting cycles.
Jamel Dean, one of the two commits in the 2015 class to this date, is from Florida, and the Buckeye staff is looking to further their success down south even more so
Today, the Buckeyes made the cut for 247Composite five-star linebacker Jeffery Holland, who hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and attends the prestigious Trinity Christian Academy. Joining the Buckeyes in his top six are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and UCLA.

The 6-foot-2-inch, 230 pound linebacker is ranked the 27th best player in the 2015 247Sports Composite rankings and is rated as the second best outside linebacker in his class.
He took an unofficial visit to Columbus back in June for one of Ohio State's summer camps. He had very good things to say about Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes when we spoke following his visit/camp experience.
Florida and Auburn probably hold a slight edge for the standout linebacker as things currently stand, but the Bucks definitely have a chance if they're able to get him back on campus. It will be interesting to see where his recruitment goes over the next couple of months.
Holland presently holds 48 scholarship offers from many of top schools across the country. Check out his highlights here:
