Though they only reveal the top few teams amongst vote getters, we now know there's a bit more formal expectations for this coming fall and beyond's edition of the basketball Buckeyes.

At Big Ten Media Day in Chicago, it was revealed that Ohio State garnered enough consideration to be projected to finish third in the 2014-15 final Big Ten standings. Thad Matta's Bucks are welcoming in a number of fresh faces and will have to makeup for the losst of senior leaders Aaron Craft and Lenzelle Smith Jr.

Last year Final Four team Wisconsin is no surprise as the unanimous preseason favorites in the league while Michigan State is a bit of a surprise given their losses as the media's choice to finish second in the conference. Badgers senior forward Frank Kaminsky was named the Big Ten's preseason player of the year by the conference media. Joining Kaminsky on the preseason All-Big Ten team are Indiana's Yogi Ferrell, Michigan's Caris LeVert, Nebraska' Terran Petteway, and fellow Badger Sam Dekker.
