After a week off from their final bye of the 2014 season, Ohio State released the latest version of their depth chart as they prepare to host the Scarlet Knights on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes only made slight changes to some of the backups, while the starters remained the same from two weeks ago against Maryland. With the final stretch of games starting for Ohio State this week, head coach Urban Meyer and his staff are getting closer to a finalized roster as they try to make their run at a Big Ten championship and beyond.
The first change comes at left tackle, where Taylor Decker remains the starter, with Jamarco Jones backing him up. On this latest depth chart, however, Kyle Dodson is no longer the backup to Jamarco Jones at left tackle, being left off the depth chart altogether. In previous weeks, Antonio Underwood had been listed as the third option for center, but this week, Underwood (in addition to being third man up for center) is also the third option at right guard, behind Pat Elflein and Chase Farris.
Michael Thomas is still listed as the starter over Devin Smith and after an impressive showing at Maryland (4 receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown) don't expect that to change for the time being. The only other change this week on the depth chart is at defensive tackle. Adolphus Washington is still listed as the starter, along with Donovan Munger backing him up. The change is that defensive tackle now has a third man listed, coming in the form of Chris Carter.
