After a dominating defensive performance, including the game winning, walk-off sack, Bosa picks up another big award

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

What happens when you win the game on a walk-off sack? What happens when you grab 2.5 sacks over the entire game for a total loss of 18 yards, and just generally wreck havoc? You start getting awards, and that's exactly what's happening to Joey Bosa.

After his heroics against Penn State, Bosa was already named the Athlon National Defensive Player of the WeekToday, he also picked up a Big Ten defensive player of the week award. Bosa had six total tackles to go with those 2.5 sacks against Penn State, in a 31-24 double OT victory for the Buckeyes.

Bosa also leads the Big Ten with eight sacks on the season, and with 11.5 tackles for loss. Bosa leads a unit that's excellent at creating havoc generally, as the Buckeyes lead the Big Ten with 52 tackles for loss, averaging 7.4 a game, good for 20th nationally.

Congrats to Joey Bosa and the Ohio State defensive on another much deserved award.
