How to watch Ohio State-Maryland: Game time, TV schedule, and Week 6 TV Guide

Ohio State kicks off against Maryland today at 12 p.m. ET on ABC (channels 6 and 1006 on Time Warner Columbus/Delaware).

Greg Bartram-USA TODAY Sports

The time has come, people. We've made it through the out-of-conference match ups and the in-state rivalries mostly unscathed, and now it's time for some Big Ten action. Our Ohio State Buckeyes are 3-1 going into our conference opener against new conference member Maryland. The Terrapins are 4-1 going into today's matchup, and they already have a W against a Big Ten team, having beaten Indiana 37-15 last week. You won't want to miss our Big Ten season debut, so we've got all the info you'll need to enjoy it right here.

When and where is the game?

Kickoff is at noon ET today. The Buckeyes will be traveling to College Park to play at Maryland. This is the first time Maryland has sold out a game since 2008. You're welcome, Terrapins.

I'm not in Maryland. How can I watch?

Today's game will be on ABC, which means just about everyone with a TV should be able to see it. It will also be available to stream on ESPN3. The announcing crew will consist of Sean McDonough, Chris Spielman, and Todd McShay. If you'll be on the road, tune into 97.1 FM The Fan or any of the other Ohio State radio network affiliates to listen in.

One last thing before we move on to national stuff. Are terrapins really turtles?

Yup. We're taking on the fightin' turtles. Pretty cool, really.

What about the national scene? What's big this week?

Nobody in the national media can resist the allure of SEC action, so College GameDay will be visiting Ole Miss for the first time ever for their matchup against Alabama. That game will be on at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. If you were wondering who the oddest choice for celebrity picker this season would be, we might have a winner right here, as Katy Perry will be joining the team at the desk. That makes sense, right?

If Lee Corso sings "Roar," everybody takes a shot.

What's the rest of the Big Ten up to today?

We've got a full day of B1G football ahead of us, people. Also at noon is Purdue at Illinois, a game we can all agree probably isn't going to be the Big Ten game of the week. At 2:30, Indiana plays North Texas in the only non conference game of the week. Wisconsin at Northwestern kicks off at 3:30, and Michigan at Rutgers starts at 7:00. (If you had asked me at the beginning of the season which of those two teams would have the better record going into this game, I would have gotten the question wrong.) Closing out the night for us, Nebraska plays at Michigan State.

If you have any questions for next week, let me know in the comments or on Twitter. If you want to spend the whole day watching football, then check out the chart below for all the game info you'll need.
