According to authorities and social media postings from his family, Ohio State walk-on defensive lineman Kostadinos Karageorge has gone missing. Kareageorge, a senior walk-on for the Buckeyes out of Thomas Worthington High School, spent three years on the Ohio State wrestling team before leaving to pursue football.
According to Facebook post by his mother, Karageorge has been missing since around 2 a.m. on Wednesday November 26. A missing persons report has been filed and his family has been searching campus and the Grandview area. His phone was last tracked at 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Third Street and Elmwood.
Karageorge did not show up for Wednesday's football practice, which his family calls very out of character.
Karageorge is about 6'5 tall and 285 pounds with a shaved head and a beard. A recent photo can be found at the top of the page. The Karageorge family asks anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 614-747-1729.
Thoughts and prayers with his loved ones.
