As we all know, Urban Meyer and the rest of the Buckeye coaching staff are relentless when it comes to recruiting. Last night was a prime example of that, as they sent out an offer to a freshman in high school. The interesting thing is, it's already the third offer they have shipped out to a 2018 prospect.

On Thursday, '18 OT Will Lawrence from Memphis, Tennessee tweeted that he had received an offer from Ohio State.

"I called Coach (Larry) Johnson to check in with him and he told me they liked my film a lot and wanted to offer me," Lawrence told Land Grant Holy-Land. The offer from the Buckeyes is the seventh for the 6'4, 260-pounder. Lawrence has already piled up offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Florida Atlantic, Indiana, TCU and West Virginia, as well as receiving interest from many power five programs according to 247Sports.

"I was very excited to be offered by Ohio State," Lawrence stated. He continued by saying "Ohio State is an incredible school and an amazing football program."

The Harding Academy (TN) rising prospect has already been on campus, just last summer. The current ninth grader was in Columbus in June to participate in camp. "Beautiful campus and amazing facilities," Lawrence said.

Lawrence is the third 2018 prospect to be offered by the Buckeyes joining Ricky Slade (Matthew Burrell's teammate) and Tyreke Johnson. You can check out Lawrence in action below.
