I wanted to emphasize my ability to recruit, my ties to the region, and my healthy respect for the university, their traditions, and their important leaders. I understand that I'm very much going to be a non-traditional candidate, but hey, so was Jim Tressel, and that turned out okay, right?
Also, I'd appreciate if you guys didn't share this with my boss. I mean, I think he'd understand, with this being the Wisconsin job and all, but you never know.
