Ohio State vs. Louisville 2014 live game updates: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch

The Buckeyes hit the road for their first major test of this young season. Can they handle the tussle with Louisville?

Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

The basketball Buckeyes have handled every test so far in this early season, but those tests aren't likely to impress anybody. The 14th ranked Buckeyes are a perfect 5-0, but have only played one team from what might be considered a power conference, and Marquette may be one of the worst teams in the Big East this season. Ohio State will get a chance to see just how much they've progressed, and how far they need to go, when they hit the road to take on the fifth ranked Louisville Cardinals in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Subplots in this game abound. You have two of the best coaches in college basketball, with Thad Matta and Rick Pintino. You have D'Angelo Russell, Ohio State's electric freshman guard who just so happens to be from Louisville. You have Montrezl Harrell, one of the best players in all of college basketball, who has started this season with a bang. And you have two strong teams who look to contend for their conference titles.
