Gustin to visit OSU:

Ohio State received big news on Tuesday that 2015 four-star athlete Porter Gustin will be making his way to Columbus in January. Gustin, from Utah, is one of the most heralded prospects in the entire country and has the ability to play outside linebacker or even defensive end at the next level. Gustin checks in at a monstrous 6'5, 240 pounds and looks like a kid who is all muscle. If the visit goes well it should vault the Buckeyes into his top five or so and at that point it's just a matter of whether Urban Meyer can work his late-stage magic like we've seen him do so many times before. There's always a prospect or two that comes onto the radar out of nowhere at this point in the year and for this go-around, it looks like it could be Gustin. As we stand now, USC appears to be the favorite with Arizona State, Notre Dame, and of course Ohio State in the mix. Gustin can run, hit, and has a nose for the ball--everything you want in a defensive player. We'll see how this one shakes out over the next month.

Gibson continues to improve:

Torrance Gibson, who is going through practices for the Army All-American Bowl, has been looking solid at the QB position the last couple of days according to multiple reports. This has to come as good news to Ohio State fans because if he can put it together mentally, mix that in with his elite running ability and it will be trouble for opposing Big Ten defenses for years to come. Here's him throwing a pass to former Buckeye target Van Jefferson yesterday:

Quick Hits:

- Branden Bowen, one of Ohio State's newest offensive line commits, is planning a trip. Relax -- it's not to visit schools, but to watch the Buckeyes square off in the National Title game in Dallas. Well, they need to get past Alabama first, but Bowen sure does seem confident.

- Here's commit Eric Glover-Williams running after catching a pass at the Under Armour All-American Game practice. The athletes now have two practices under their belts.

- Jashon Cornell celebrated his 18th birthday yesterday. He and Glover-Williams are teaming up at the Under Armour Bowl.
