Only the most ardent of Buckeye basketball devotees would acknowledge that today's game between the Colgate Raiders isn't the title card match for Ohio State today. That's Ohio State football's Big Ten Championship game tilt with Wisconsin. But the football team doesn't kick off until later tonight, so why not join us as the basketball team looks to get back on track?
On paper, this is another mismatch, but that doesn't mean it has to be a blowout. Last year, Ohio State faced another Patriot League team early in the season in American University, and the Eagles kept things close to Ohio State for nearly the entire game. And as you're probably aware, Michigan lost to something called an NJIT this afternoon, in what was projected to be even a bigger blowout. As the sage of our time, Kevin Garnett, once said, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEE!
But Ohio State should win, and win comfortably. For a young team that may need a confidence boost after their failed comeback attempt at Louisville, maybe that isn't the worst thing in the world. Can Ohio State regain their shooting touch? Can Shannon Scott blow up the box score again? How many points will Marc Loving get?
Only one way to find out. Join us in the GameThread. Go Bucks.
