The Ohio State football program sent out a few offers yesterday, one of them being to four-star running back Eric Swinney. Since Urban Meyer became the head man, the Buckeyes have had success recruiting the state of Georgia and there's a chance that Swinney could be the next good one out of SEC territory. Swinney checks in a 5'10 and just under 190 pounds. He holds a plethora of offers with Ole Miss, Florida State, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee all near the top of his list at the moment. Obviously t's early in the recruiting process and there's time to make up the ground needed. If Ohio State wants a chance to land Swinney, they'll have their hands full along with some of the other top programs in the country.
Ohio State just offered....!! #Buckeyes

Adam McLean was the next recipient of an offer on Tuesday. From Maryland, McLean is rated a four-star defensive tackle and is drawing interest from all schools along the east coast and midwest as well as a few down south. Maryland's highest rated defensive tackle, McLean's highest interest seems to be coming from Michigan State, Nebraska, and also the hometown Terrapins. This Ohio State offer is sure to shake things up as the Buckeyes are looking to beef up the defensive line in the 2015 class, most especially up the middle. McLean is extremely athletic at 280 pounds and explodes off the ball. He's quick enough to provide constant quarterback pressure as well. If you haven't seen the film yet, check it out here.
Just received my 27th offer from THEE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY #TrulyBlessed

Staying on the line, offensive this time, Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes through out yet another offer to Gabe Megginson, a 6'5 prospect from Illinois. Megginson holds a handful of offers from Big Ten schools such as Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State and now of course, Ohio State. It's obvious that Ohio State has genuine interest in Megginson, extending an offer to him this early after the huge haul they pulled in the 2014 class.
Ohio State just offered!! #buckeyes

The fourth and final new Ohio State offeree from Tuesday might be the biggest one of them all. Big 5-star DT Trent Thompson, a 6'4 292 pound Albany, Georgia product said the Ohio State staff reached out to him late yesterday afternoon. After the latest rounds of tweaks to the four major recruiting services' rankings, Thompson grades out as the #1 overall player in the 2015 class in the 247Sports Composite rankings. Thompson is projected by 34 experts to stay home and play for UGA, but if Ohio State can get the big man to campus, anything's possible:

QUICK HITS:
- Nick Conner is drawing big-time interest from Ohio State as he's sure to be on of the best linebackers in the country in his class. He tore it up at the Best of the Midwest Combine, check out what he had to say about his recruiting process up to this point.
- Five-star shooting guard Tyus Battle will visit Columbus on March 9th when the Buckeyes host Michigan State. Battle is one of the best in the class of 2016.
