Ohio State already had seven signees going into today, with 15 remaining. All but one of the 15 were signed, sealed, and delivered to Ohio State by 11 a.m. ET, with Darius Slade joining a few hours later. The class current stands at 23 commitments, and is ranked #3 nationally in the 247Composite rankings.
After signing and faxing their national letters of intent to the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, some of the recruits took the time to reflect on the recruiting process with Land-Grant Holy Land:
WR Terry McLaurin: "Committing (was) probably (my favorite part of the process) because I knew I wanted to be done and wasn't going to change my mind," McLaurin said. "Seeing the fan feedback was real nice too."
DE Dylan Thompson: "It was actually only about two months haha, but just finally choosing a school and having a place to call my next home."
LB Kyle Berger: "Meeting all the kids and coaches," Berger said about his favorite part of the recruiting process. "The relationships I built with people I know will last a very long time and possibly the rest of my life."
LB Sam Hubbard: "Just meeting all of the great people and exploring my future."
S Erick Smith: "Experiencing the whole recruiting process and seeing what all schools had to offer, meeting new people."
S Malik Hooker: "When all the website reporters were calling as soon as I committed," Hooker said recalling his favorite recruiting memory.
CB Marshon Lattimore: "Just getting it over with."
We will continue to update this post as more recruit reaction rolls in.
