Ohio State vs. Purdue 2014: How to watch, TV schedule, radio, and more

Thad Matta's Buckeyes seek their third straight Big Ten win after one of the worst lulls of his Columbus coaching tenure as Matt Painter and Purdue come to town. Join fellow Buckeyes and the LGHL staff as we take in all the action.

Trevor Ruszkowksi-USA TODAY Spor

Ohio State hoop heads find themselves in the odd position of blindly rooting for a three-game winning streak, a proposition once viewed as not entirely uncommon, if not a given when the third and final opponent of the three was one lower in the Big Ten standings. But given the basketball Bucks' recent hot-and-cold play, taking things one game at a time and getting in and out with a victory has become more of a recent focal point.

Since Shannon Scott went to Thad Matta and suggested that the Bucks go with Sam Thompson in the starting lineup to better the team as a whole, Ohio State's wheeled off back-to-back upset victories over then ranked Wisconsin and Big Ten regular season title contenders, Iowa. The 4-6 in Big Ten play Boilermakers don't exactly qualify to be mentioned in the same breath as those two, but given that Ohio State's lost games to cellar dwellers Nebraska and Penn State, anything's possible on any given night.

You're also welcome to add an image from Giphy or Google Image Search and just go nuts, really. We're Buckeyes after all.
