ABC/ESPN released their list for prime-time games this season for the Big Ten, and Ohio State has three games that will be played under the lights. Ohio State will get 8 PM kickoff times for the following dates:
September 6th: Virginia Tech
October 25th: At Penn State
November 1st: Illinois
The Va Tech game will be on ESPN, while the Penn State and Illinois games will be on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
Other highlights of the Big Ten prime-time schedule will include September 20th's Miami at Nebraska showdown, and October 4th's Nebraska at Michigan State. Additional kickoff times, like for the LSU/Wisconsin game, may be announced later this summer.
The BTN will announce their prime-time schedule next Tuesday, and it's possible Ohio State may get another night game (perhaps against Maryland).
Ohio State is officially 39-22 in night games, (unofficially, it's 42-22. Three wins were vacated) and officially 10-3 in night games at home. Most recently, Ohio State absolutely obliterated Penn State at night, 63-14, on October 26th of last season. Ohio State has not lost a night game at Ohio Stadium since 2009, when they lost 18-15 to USC.
