Ohio State sent out one new offer on Wednesday. The recipient of the scholarship was '15 WR/TE Miles Boykin of Providence Catholic in New Lenox, Illinois. The 4-star prospect already holds offers from Florida, Illinois, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and many others. The 6'4, 212-pounder is currently ranked as the number two best player in the state of Illinois and the 192nd ranked player in the 2015 class.

Ohio State Cornerbacks coach Kerry Coombs was in Michigan yesterday to check on two '15 prospects. One of the talented players that Coombs checked on was '15 WR Ray Buford of Southfield High School. Buford currently only holds offers from Boston College, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan. The 6'1", 195-pound pass catcher is also receiving interest from Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and of course Ohio State along with a few others.
The other prospect that Buckeyes payed a visit to was '15 ATH Brian Cole of Heritage High School in Saginaw, Michigan. Cole is a big-time talent and currently sits as the number one player in the state. The 6'2", 190-pounder also is rated as the 59th best player in the class which is good for a 4-star rating. Cole has currently piled up offers from many programs across the country including Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Ohio State, who offered Cole back in March of last year.
Most likely the biggest target on the Buckeyes' board, '15 QB Torrance Gibson, will be at Auburn this weekend to check out the Tigers' spring game. As things currently stand, the Buckeyes seem to be in the best position to land the dual-threat QB but will have to hold off many of the nations best teams. Gibson comes in as the 11th best player in the country and the 4th best player in the state of Florida. The speedy quarterback has the offer sheet to backup his 5-star rating.
I will be in Auburn this weekend for the spring game. #WarEagle 🐾

Finally, for basketball recruiting news, '14 Center Myles Turner of Trinity in Euless, Texas has set his announcement date. The 6'10, 223-pound big-man will be selecting from Duke, Kansas, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas and Texas A&M on April 30th. Turner is a 5-star prospect that can get it done on the inside and can stretch the floor. Whichever school that lands the talented center will be adding the 4th ranked player in the class, as well as the 2nd best player in the Texas and at teh Center position.
