The Ohio State football coaching staff was very busy on Wednesday as they sent out four new offers to some talented prospects across the country and visited a few others. Also, the 3rd best hoops player in the state of Ohio for the 2015 class will be making an unofficial visit today.
'15 TE Josh Moore was one of the four recipients of an offer from the Buckeyes yesterday. Ohio State has joined Auburn, Florida State, Kansas, Missouri, TCU and a handful of others to send Moore a scholarship offer. The 6'5", 250-pounder from Olathe North High School in Kansas is currently rated as a 3-star prospect in the 2015 class. Moore currently sits at 27th in the country at the tight end position and 6th in the state of Kansas. Moore is currently predicted to wind up as a Tiger and play his collegiate career in Missouri. You can watch the newly offered tight ends highlights here.
Ohio State just offered me !

Another offer was handed out to '15 WR JF Thomas who is currently committed to the Horned Frogs of TCU. The 3-star pass catcher from South Oak Cliff High School stands at 6'5", 195-pounds. Joining Ohio State in offering Thomas yesterday was Nebraska. The Buckeyes and Cornhuskers joined Maryland, SMU, TCU and a few other programs on Thomas' offer sheet. Thomas' rankings aren't very impressive as he comes in at 988th in the country, 116th at the WR position and 128th in the state of Texas but as always, trust the coaching staff. Thomas has only been committed to TCU since the beginning of April. You can check out his highlights here.
'16 Safety Nigel Warrior from Westlake High School in Georgia picked up his first offer in the recruiting cycle on Wednesday and it was from the Buckeyes. While he only holds one offer to his name, I would expect that to change rather quickly. Warrior is receiving interest from a few schools including Auburn, Georgia, South Florida and Tennessee. The 6'1", 177-pounder is the son of former Tennessee Volunteer and 4x NFL Pro Bowler Dale Carter. You can check highlights from Warrior here.

Lastly, the fourth offer to talk about was given to '17 WR Jeff Thomas. The 5'10", 170-pound product from East St. Louis High School in Illinois will likely be one of the top rated players at his position and maybe even in the country. Thomas has already gotten scholarship offers from Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Nebraska and Syracuse. The Crystal ball for Thomas will likely not make Buckeye fans happy as he is predicted by two analysts to choose Michigan as of now. With Thomas being a 2017 prospect, the Buckeyes and the rest of the country have plenty of time to make up ground on the Wolverines. You can watch his highlights here.
The Ohio State staff also made a stop to O'Fallon High School in Illinois to check on '16 RB Kentrail Moran. The 5'10, 180-pounder currently has offers from Illinois and Northern Illinois at the moment. He is also receiving interest from Iowa, Michigan, Missouri and Wisconsin. Co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell also stopped by St. Francis DeSales High School on Wednesday to check in on '16 RB/CB Austin Andrews.
In huge Ohio State basketball recruiting news, '15 PF Esa Ahmad will be on campus today for an unofficial visit with the Buckeyes. The 4-star forward has yet to pick up an offer from Ohio State but does have offers from 16 others including Clemson, Indiana, Iowa State, Maryland, Miami, UNLV, West Virginia, Xavier and more. Despite not having an Ohio State offer to his name, 6 recruiting analysts think that Ahmad will wind up playing his collegiate career in Columbus. Ahmad currently is ranked as the 63rd best player in the country, the 16th best player at the PF position and the 3rd highest rated player to come from the state of Ohio.
