One of the more polarizing Buckeyes in recent memory, Ohio State safety Corey Brown, aka "Pitt" Brown, will look to add to the number of former Bucks playing professionally at the next level. After not being selected during the three days of the 2014 NFL Draft, Brown has agreed to a tryout with his home town Pittsburgh Steelers.
Brown was forced into a role he didn't seem particularly fit for after team captain and spiritual leader Christian Bryant went down for the season with an ankle injury. The Monroeville, PA native struggled situationally never really finding a comfort zone at either safety positions and often being vulnerable in deep coverage.
Though he stayed for all five years and often thanklessly contributed on special teams, Brown will have to impress to have a chance to join Jake Stoneburner, Jim Cordle, Jake Ballard, and other recent Buckeyes who've stuck as undrafted free agents with their respective clubs.
