Joe Burrow commits to Ohio State

Ohio State has a quarterback for the 2015 recruiting class.

Ohio State has their first quarterback commit for the 2015 recruiting class – but it probably isn't who you expected.

In a bit of a surprise, three-star 247Sports Composite quarterback Joe Burrow has pledged to the Buckeyes, per his Twitter account. Burrow checks in at 6'4, 205 pounds and hails from Athens, OH. Burrow is currently graded as the 10th best dual threat quarterback in the 2015 class, the 16th best player from the state of Ohio, and the 334th best player nationally. He was also considering West Virginia, Boston College, Iowa State and others.

Burrow has been considered a bit of a sleeper/late riser at the position, and his commitment will likely cause a number of the major services to revisit his evaluation. His father is currently the defensive coordinator at Ohio University, so you know he comes from a bit of a coaching family to say the least.
