Five-star athlete/quarterback Torrance Gibson revealed his final Top 7 schools this evening. Amongst the schools Gibson will be winnowing his decision down to are (in order) co-No. 1's Tennessee and Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Miami, and UCF.
Working against Ohio State's favor is that Gibson has yet to unofficially visit the school. While he's spoken highly of the Bucks, OSU find themselves looking up directly as a result of his lack of experiences in Central Ohio and potentially as well as the recent addition of quarterback Joe Burrow to the fold.
Many had expected the Buckeyes to find themselves in direct competition with the top schools as soon as the coaching staff are able to get him to visit, but a source told LGHL earlier this week that Burrow's addition potentially changes things for Gibson.
Gibson recently experienced some off the field issues when he was suspended from high school and forced to miss his team's spring game. As of yet there's been no other fallout from the incident and until we hear otherwise, he's expected to play his senior season at Plantation American Heritage.
