One of Ohio State's top targets for the 2015 recruiting class in the from of Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage quarterback/athlete Torrance Gibson, release his top 15 in order just moments ago.
The standout quarterback has Tennessee at the top of his list, followed by Auburn, with the Buckeyes checking in at fourth on his early list of schools he favors. LSU and Clemson are also included in his top five.
It's no surprise the Buckeyes aren't the leader here as he has yet to make the trip to Columbus to visit Ohio State, while he has been out to see the schools that are listed ahead of the Buckeyes. As long as he does eventually visit Ohio State, the Bucks will be a major player in his recruitment when it's all said and done.
Other schools still in contention for Gibson's commitment include the likes of Oklahoma, Miami, Florida, NC State, Oregon, Central Florida, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Michigan and Nebraska.
Gibson plans on taking some visits over the summer, then taking all five official visits before announcing his college decision shortly after his senior season wraps up. He has also stated that there's an 85-perecent chance he leaves the state of Florida to play his college football.
I should be talking to Gibson later tonight, so we should have much more on his recruitment and where he stands with Ohio State a little later on.
