The Ohio State class of 2015 isn't the only one stockpiling talent, as the Buckeyes 2016 class is now starting to steadily take shape. Just days after adding a verbal from Hubbard standout running back George Hill, Urban Meyer and crew have received their second commitment from a junior, per 11W's Jeremy Birmingham.
While on the OSU campus today, four-star offensive lineman Tyler Gerald of Sciotoville Community School in Portsmouth, decided to end his recruitment, and give Meyer and the Buckeyes his pledge over scholarship offers from programs such as Virginia Tech, Kent State, and Toledo.
One of the top linemen in the state of Ohio, regardless of class, Gerald, who stands 6'5 and 300 pounds, is currently ranked the the seventh best offensive guard, and 121st overall prospect in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
The Land-Grant Holy Land recruiting team will have much more in the coming days on both Tyler Gerald and his commitment to the Buckeyes. In the meantime, take a few moments to check out these highlights of the newest OSU commit in action, courtesy of Hudl:
