Coming off a successful weekend as far as getting recruits to visit before the Columbus Nike Football Training Camp, Ohio State got more good news on Monday when '15 DE James Lockhart released his top six schools, with the Buckeyes making the list. Lockhart listed (in no order): Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech.

Other than the schools just mentioned, Lockhart holds offers from Arizona State, Arkansas, Calirforina, Iowa, Kansas State, Miami, Missouri, Notre Dame, LSU, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Texas, among others. The 6'3, 260-pound strong-side defensive end is the 11th best player from the state of Texas and is ranked as the sixth best defensive end in the country for the class of 2015.

The 247 Crystal Ball currently has Lockhart headed to Texas A&M (64%) over Baylor (36%). However, with this latest release of his schools, the race should be heating up quite soon between these schools for Lockhart's services.

Staying on the topic of lists, '15 ATH Christian Kirk took to Twitter on Monday to announce that he would be releasing his list sometime on Tuesday. It's expected that the Buckeyes will make the cut, but there are plenty of worthy schools that have offered the versatile prospect.

Kirk holds offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Boise State, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC, among many other top collegiate programs. Kirk can play multiple positions with his 5'11, 195-pound frame and his 4.49 40-yard dash speed. The Arizona-native is the number one prospect from his state, and rated as the fifth best wide receiver in the country.

Last season, Kirk was doing it all for his high school as he carried the ball 77 times for 832 yards and 13 touchdowns, hauled in 65 passes for 1,183 yards and 17 touchdowns, scored touchdowns on three punt returns, and also racked up 55 tackles and grabbed two interceptions when playing at cornerback.

Finally, moving to the class of 2016, '16 DT Rashan Gary says he has Ohio State on his radar and plans on visiting sometime this upcoming summer. The 6'4, 285-pound defensive tackle is one of the best recruits in next year's class, rated 10th overall, the third best defensive tackle in the class, and the highest rated player from the state of New Jersey for 2016.

While recruitment has only just begun for Gary, the offers have been flooding in. Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Penn State, Rutgers, South Carolina, and USC, among others, have already offered the youngster.

For now, the 247 Crystal Ball experts like Alabama's chances (89%) of landing the five-star talent over Penn State (11%), but it's extremely early to really name a favorite, considering Gary hasn't even received the last of his offers, which won't come any time soon. For now, a visit from Gary to Columbus will help gauge his interest and bring him closer with the coaching staff.
