Watch this: Ohio State 2014 season preview - Defense must improve

Campus Insiders continues their team preview series with a look at Ohio State. Where do they see the Buckeyes ending up at the end of the 2014 season?

We're hitting that point in the offseason when many national media outlets are starting to dig into full team previews for the upcoming fall. Campus Insiders just released their video preview for Ohio State, where Pete Fiutak and former NFL running back Doug Chapman break down Ohio State's schedule, position groups, and give a forecast for the next season.

For what it's worth, Chapman sees Ohio State going 11-1, losing on the road to Michigan State, while Fiutak adds that with Meyer, OSU's talent depth and a favorable schedule, there isn't a reason why the Buckeyes shouldn't compete for a College Football Playoff spot this season. Neither analyst seemed particularly concerned about Ohio State's non-conference schedule, which includes a battle with Virginia Tech along with potentially interesting games against Cincinnati and a tussle with Navy in Baltimore.

Like you might expect, Campus Insiders expressed concern about Ohio State's secondary, especially after the departure of Bradley Roby to the NFL, and has a surprising pick for an impact player on the defensive side of the ball.

What do you think? Is this a fair assessment of Ohio State's strengths, weaknesses and schedule going into the season? Do you think 11-1 is a fair expectation for the Buckeyes, or do you seem them doing better (or worse)?
