Braxton Miller named to 2014 Big Ten players to watch list

For the third straight season, Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller's been named to the Big Ten's preseason players to watch list.

Also named from the East Division to the preseason players to watch list were Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg, Maryland WR Stefon Diggs, Michigan State DE Shilique Clahoun, and Michigan tight end/wide receiver Devin Funchess.

The players to watch from the West Division were Nebraska RB Ameer Abdullah and DE Randy Gregory, Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon, Badgers OT Rob Havenstein, and Iowa offensive lineman Brandon Scherff.

All 10 players named to the list earned all-conference honors in 2013 with first team recognition having gone to Abdullah, Calhoun, Funchess, Gregory, Miller, and Scherff.
