Big-time Ohio State wide receiver target Christian Kirk will be releasing his top six tomorrow afternoon. Kirk has always been high on the Buckeyes and there's no reason why Ohio State won't be included. Though Kirk may not include the order in his list, it is known that Ohio State is in his top two or three. Remember, Kirk took an unofficial visit to Columbus in the spring, all on his own dime. The interest is legitimately there.

Also, Christian Kirk is tight with quarterback target Torrance Gibson. Ohio State has gotten themselves back into a good position with Gibson and that bodes well with Kirk's recruitment as well. Texas A&M, Oregon, and Ohio State seem to be the top schools for the standout athlete from Arizona.

2016 running back Kareem Walker was on campus yesterday for a visit. Walker is a five-star prospect out of New Jersey and holds tons of offers most notably from Penn State, Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, and Ohio State. The Nittany Lions and Crimson Tide appear to be the favorites at this point.

At 6'1 210 pounds, Walker is a load and is able to do just about everything at a high level. Getting Walker on campus was the first thing that had to happen in order for the Buckeyes to have a shot at the bruising runner. Ohio State accomplished this and will be in good position over the next couple of years. He's currently ranked as the number six overall player in his class.

Staying in the class of 2016, offensive line prospect Michal Menet has made it apparent that he will visit Columbus for the Cincinnati game on September 27. Menet, a Pennsylvania native, checks in at 6'5 and just 250 pounds. Obviously with that frame there's room to put on some more weight -- something he will need to do to compete at the next level.

Right now, Menet is the number one offensive lineman in the state on Pennsylvania and also already holds a Buckeye offer. It will be tough to beat out James Franklin at Penn State with the momentum he's built up the last few months, but we're far away from signing day with the 2016 class.

QUICK HITS:

- Ohio State target Lawrence Cager tweeted that he will be releasing his top schools on August 28. The Buckeyes are firmly in the mix to land the 6'5 receiver.

-Though he's all linebacker when he arrives in Columbus, Justin Hilliard will see an increased workload this season at St. Xavier High School. He'll be leaned on to be the workhorse at running back.
