Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets, 9/19 - Zach Bateman offered, Neville Gallimore names top 5

There is no doubt that the Ohio State coaching staff wants to add a few more big bodies upfront, and are searching high and low to make sure that happens. According to reports, the Buckeyes recently offered a prospect yesterday that fits exactly what they are looking for.

JUCO offensive lineman Zach Bateman, a massive 6'7 320-pound prospect, is the latest recruit OSU has offered. A three-star prospect, according to Rivals, Bateman holds scholarship offer from OSU, BYU, Arizona State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, UCLA and a long list of others.

Bateman joins Martinas Rankin, the long-armed, Bateman is the second JUCO lineman the Ohio State staff has offered over the last week or so.

2015 DT names top 5:

Last night, four-star class of 2015 defensive tackle Neville Gallimore, the top overall Canadian prospect released his top five, with the Bucks making the cut.

Oklahoma, where he recently visited, Florida, Florida State, and the Oregon Ducks round out his short list.

Gallimore has yet to schedule an official visit to Columbus, but that could soon change. The 6'3, 300 pounder has been quoted as saying that he hopes to have a date set soon.

With many commits, and visitors heading to campus for the Cincinnati and Michigan games this season, the Buckeye coaching staff would love to add his name to the list.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Neville is the 13th best defensive tackle and 105th overall prospect in the 2015 class.
