The Big Ten Network announced its 2014-15 Hockey coverage schedule today, with the Hockey City Classic outdoor games at Soldier Field in Chicago as its centerpiece. The entirety of the Big Ten Hockey conference tournament will also be broadcast on BTN.
The Hockey City Classic, which will feature a faceoff between B1G rivals Michigan and Michigan State as well as an undercard of Western Michigan vs. Miami, will be played on February 7, 2015 while the Big Ten Tournament, where Ohio State made it all the way to the finals before losing in overtime to Wisconsin, will take place from March 19-21.
Ohio State's first game on the BTN this year will be on December 5 at 7:00 PM at perennial hockey power Michigan. The Buckeyes will also play on the BTN at Michigan State on January 24, 2015, at Minnesota on February 6, at home against Wisconsin on February 13, at home against Penn State on February 27 and at defending conference tourney champs Wisconsin on March 14.
The Buckeyes will also have their March 6 and 7 games against Minnesota air on ESPNU and ESPNEWS respectively.
