How to watch Ohio State-Virginia Tech: Game time, TV schedule, and Week 2 TV guide

The game will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN (Channel 1301 on Time Warner Columbus/Delaware)

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

We're coming home, ladies and gentlemen. Not like Homecoming coming home, but still. Week 2 brings us to our first home game of the season. Time to show off our new stadium and its cool new gadgets, like lights! Before all the Saturday action begins, let's make sure we're all on the same page.

When and where do Ohio State play this week?

Well, we've already covered the "where" part of that. This week's game against Virginia Tech is a home game. The game will begin at 8 p.m. ET, giving us a chance to show off Ohio Stadium's renovations to the world.

I don't have tickets. How do I watch it and what TV channel is it on?

Simple. You watch the game on ESPN (channel 31 or 1301 if you have Time Warner in the Columbus area), or you listen to it on 97.1 FM (if you're in the Central Ohio area). We'll get you a full channel listing tomorrow morning in case you have forgotten what channel ESPN is on in your house, or if you're like me and recently moved and can't find any channels. Our ESPN announcing crew this week will consist of Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge, and Holly Rowe.

Can I watch it streaming online?

If you're away from your TV that night, you can also watch online on WatchESPN (if you're a participating cable subscriber), which will feature ESPN3's SkyCam broadcast.

Where will GameDay be setting up camp this week?

Despite the fact that the Michigan State vs. Oregon game will be broadcast on Fox, the good folks at GameDay will be in Eugene for what could quite possibly be the best game of football on TV that day. Two top-ten teams battling it out in Week 2. Michigan State has the chance to go in here as the defending Rose Bowl champions and show the Big Ten haters that there's some power left in this power conference. That game starts at 6:30 p.m. ET tomorrow, so you may have to bounce back and forth between this one and our game if you want to catch all the action. Thankfully they don't both kick off at 8 p.m.

When LGHL Managing Editor Matt Brown and I made our preseason GameDay predictions, we called this one, too. We're 2-0, baby.

So that takes care of two Big Ten teams. What about the other twelve?

The good thing about Saturdays is that there's basically football on all day long. You don't have to do anything else all day if you don't want to!

Unlike last week, all our the B1G action will be on Saturday this week. Rutgers, Purdue, Penn State, Illinois, Nebraska, and Wisconsin are all playing at noon. None of them are playing anyone really exciting (sorry, Akron), so place your bets now on which one will choke and lose to a school you've never heard of before! In fact, most of the B1G action this week isn't very exciting. Maryland, Iowa, Minnesota, and Northwestern all play at 3:30 p.m. Northern Illinois has been known to put up a fight before, so their game against Northwestern could get interesting. That potentially exciting game springboards us from the boring to the not-so-boring, however. After the 3:30 games, Sparty plays at 6:30 p.m., as we said above, Michigan takes on their pretend rival Notre Dame at 7:30, and then the Buckeyes round out the night at 8 p.m. A mildly entertaining afternoon should end in a rather exciting night for the conference.

I am a sick, sick man and all I want to do is watch every college football game ever.

We have you covered. Again:
