After announcing he was walking away from football yesterday, it's no surprise that former Alabama transfer center Chad Lindsay is off Ohio State's Kent State week depth chart. Replacing him on the two deep is Antonio Underwood, who'd been listed as the backup left tackle the week before.
Replacing Underwood on the left side of the line is freshman Jamarco Jones, who appears on the Buckeyes' depth chart for the first time in his college career. The rest of the line remains static despite an up and down day (that was capped on a sour note with a barrage of sacks yielded) against Virginia Tech.
Noah Spence returns to the depth chart on defense this week, but finds himself behind Steve Miller, the starter for the first two weeks of the season. Defensive lineman Rashad Frazier, who'd been Miller's backup at the 'Viper' position last week, now slide over to join Donovan Munger as the OR backup to nose guard Adolphus Washington.
Though Tommy Schutt was listed as the OR starter with Michael Bennett last week, Bennett has top billing alone this week.
The rest of the defense (linebackers and secondary) as well as the specialists are static this week.
