Buckeye Nation and nearly every other single college football fan in the world are counting down the seconds until Ohio State takes on Alabama in the Sugar Bowl this evening.
When two historic programs battle under the lights for a chance to go to the national championship game, fans aren't the only one who can't wait to see which program brings their A-game.
With all eyes on tonight's game, Land-Grant Holy Land caught up with a number of prospects and got their opinion on what they are most looking forward to seeing during the Buckeyes matchup against the Nick Saban coached Crimson Tide:
2015 OSU commit Rashod Berry (Lorain, OH/Lorain Digital)
Thoughts: "I'm expecting for Ohio State to play hard on both sides of the ball, and go hard the whole game."
Prediction: Ohio State, 35-20
2016 DB Patrice Rene (Alexandria, VA/Episcopal)
Thoughts: "I'm really looking forward to this huge matchup. I'm just excited to see two great teams battle it out. I am eager to see how both teams will use their playmakers. I'm really excited to see how Cardale Jones will handle himself on the big stage being a former third stringer to starter. Ohio State has a very explosive offense that can score many points in various ways, but Alabama's defense is top notch. Other than that I really want to see the battles between the wide outs vs the defensive backs. I a big fan of OSU's secondary. I'll be watching that. "
Prediction: Ohio State, 24-21
2016 WR Austin Mack (Fort Wayne, IN/Bishop Luers)
Thoughts: "I hope to see OSU compete, and shut up those SEC fans."
Prediction: Ohio State, 31-30
2016 WR Tre Nixon (Melbourne, FL/Viera)
Thoughts: "I'm just so excited to see what they (OSU) can do against one of the best teams in all of college football. I'm also excited to see how Cardale Jones plays. Pretty much just the whole atmosphere. I can't wait to experience it."
Prediction: "That is a tough one. I don't want to short change any team, so I'll just wait to see how it plays out."
2016 DL Emmit Gooden (Brownsville, TN/Haywood)
Thoughts: "I just want to see two power house schools battle in the final four. That is good enough for me. Not only that, but being recruited, and holding offers from them both makes it more fun."
Prediction: Alabama, 36-24
2016 TE Naseir Upshur (Philadelphia, PA/Imhotep Institute)
Thoughts: "I just want to see the tight ends eat. They both have two great tight ends."
Prediction: "No prediction, but I want Ohio State to pull out the W though."
2016 DL Kyree Campbell (Woodbridge, VA/Freedom)
Thoughts: "I'm excited to see the two great offenses go at it. They both have a top ranked receiver in Devin Smith, and Amari Cooper. Both defenses are great. Larry Johnson has done a great job with the defensive line, and Coach Bo Davis has also done a great job. To me they both are very good teams, and it's all going to come down to who is going to tackle the best, block the best, and who is going to fold under pressure."
Prediction: "I don't have a score, but it's going to be a high scoring game. I think maybe if Ohio State executes like they have been they'll come out on top."
2017 OL Josh Myers (Miamisburg, OH/Miamisburg)
Thoughts: "I'm really excited to see such great programs go head-to-head. It should be interesting to see how they stack up against each other."
Prediction: "As far as a score prediction goes, I think it'll be a really tight game that could go either way."
