Not even a day removed from finding out they'd be without their leading wide receiver in the Rose Bowl, Oregon got more bad news.
The Ducks' number one corner against FSU, Troy Hill, had been rumored on message boards to not make the trip to Dallas but that's been disproven. The Ducks have suspended backup running back Ayele Forde, however, who like wide receiver Darren Carrington will miss Monday night's game following a failed drug test. He did not make the flight with the team.
Hill's not being out is particularly good news as the Ducks are already without All-American corner Ifo Ekpre-Olomu who suffered an injury in the practices leading up to the Rose Bowl and was lost for the season. Hill is expected to mark Buckeyes deep threat Devin Smith.
Forde, on the other hand, was below Royce Freeman and Thomas Tyner on the depth chart. While he played in all 14 games this year, he had only three carries for 17 yards.
