Oregon and Ohio State face off in the first College Football Playoff final Monday, vying to win the first national title of a new era in college football. The two teams are scheduled to kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET in Arlington, Texas.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN, with an online live stream available on WatchESPN.com. As was the case last year, ESPN's offering a ton of different options, including one with three current college football head coaches offering commentary on ESPN2 and WatchESPN as well.

Oregon enters this one as six-point favorites after routing Florida State 59-20 in the 2015 Rose Bowl. The Ducks were 11-1 in the regular season with signature victories against Michigan State and UCLA but marred by a loss to familiar foe Rich Rodriguez and the Arizona Wildcats. Behind the transcendent play of Marcus Mariota, the Ducks rebounded, won out, and stomped the very same Wildcats team in the 2014 Pac-12 Championship Game at the home of the San Francisco 49ers, Levi's Stadium.

The Buckeyes head into this one as mentioned as the underdogs, but Urban Meyer is 5-0 as Vegas underdogs. In their most recent such instance, the Bucks took down number one-seed Alabama, 42-35, in SEC country in New Orleans at the Sugar Bowl. Ohio State was 11-1 in the regular season, with the seemingly-damning-at-the-time loss to Virginia Tech in Week 2 but a season saving road win over Michigan State.

The Buckeyes then embarrassed Wisconsin, 59-0, in the Big Ten Championship Game, earning a contentious playoff spot over the Big 12's co-champions, TCU and Baylor, all without preseason Heisman short listed quarterback Braxton Miller and 2014 Heisman fifth place vote receiver J.T. Barrett, who both were sidelined with season ending injuries.
