J.T. Barrett expects all 3 Ohio State quarterbacks to return next season

Well, if somebody was going to leave, he'd know, right?

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Now that Ohio State has triumphantly won the national championship, all eyes turn to what should be their biggest story of the offseason: just what exactly happens at quarterback? Cardale Jones, the third QB on the roster, led the Buckeyes to three straight upsets to win it all, and he's slated to return, along with Braxton Miller ad J.T.Barrett, both of which will be coming back from injury.

So what happens? SI's Pete Thamel asked J.T. Barrett in the midst of the national championship celebrations.

That would echo what basically everybody inside Ohio State's program has been saying as of late. While Miller has been linked to other programs, his father, his teammates and his coaches have all said they expect him back at Ohio State. Cardale himself said that he would be coming back to Ohio State next season, and Thamel, in an article a few weeks ago, also said that all three QBs returning is the most likely outcome.

Who starts? Who stays? Aww, hell, we have an entire offseason to talk about that. For now, in the glow of the national championship, Barrett is reiterating what we all believe. When that changes, we'll let you know.
