Ohio State's National Championship celebration details released

Ohio State has released time, ticketing information and other details about Saturday's National Championship Celebration

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Ohio State is the 2014 College Football Playoff national champion and it's time for the city of Columbus to celebrate. Saturday's National Championship celebration will start at 11 am EST and last for an hour.  The event honoring the 2014 national champions will be held at Ohio Stadium, and will feature head coach Urban Meyer and the rest of the championship team.

Gates open at 9:30am.  2,500 tickets for standing room on the field will be released online through Ticketmaster on Wednesday, January 21 at 10am.  These tickets are also available at the Ohio State Ticket Office. Tickets are 100 percent free and available to the public.

Want more information? Be sure to check out the rest of the details on Ohio State's official page. As those who went to the celebration in 2003 know, these are one-of-a-kind events and there's no guarantee that you will have another chance to take another one in.
