Braxton Miller to wear No. 5, Ohio State alternate jerseys vs Michigan State

The Buckeye great looks like he'll go back to his original number -- at least one more time.

Looks like the former Ohio State quarterback is going out the way he started.

According to the Brutus Buckeye Snapchat account, Ohio State both appears to be wearing their 2015 College Football Playoff jerseys (as seen in the national title game against Oregon and in the Bucks' home opener against Hawaii) and Miller will be donning a familiar number.

Four years after first suiting up for the Buckeyes wearing the number five, Braxton Miller appears he will switch back to it.

For (at least) one final game, Miller will relinquish the number one he's been wearing during the 2015 season since moving from quarterback to H-back/wide receiver, and will go back to the uniform number he wore for three seasons in Columbus.

A year ago, after Miller apparently asked him, then senior tight end Jeff Heuerman sported the number five for almost the entirety of the 2014 season. Heuerman switched back to his previous number of 86 for Senior Day last year against Michigan before going back to 5 for the Big Ten Championship Game, Sugar Bowl, and eventual College Football Playoff Championship Game.

Ohio State and Michigan State face off at 3:30 p.m. on ABC (ABC6 in Columbus).
