It's been a long time coming.
Though his final year still feels surreal in many senses -- new position, new number, still coming back from a frankly unfair string of injuries -- Braxton Miller, one of the most decorated Buckeyes in the storied program's history, is finally wrapping up his last season in scarlet and gray.
Though there'll be plenty of like emotional scenes in the weeks to come, today marks a specific milestone. Miller is suiting up one final time on the banks of the Olentangy. In front of 105,000 of his closest friends (and family), the Buckeye great, sporting his original number of five no less, ran out onto the field turf of Ohio Stadium in what will be his final time as a player.
While you're busy wiping away a tear or twelve, think back to all the great things Miller did for Ohio State. Undefeated season. Big Ten East divisional title. Helping redeem a lost season by shocking Bret Bielema and Wisconsin.
Thanks for all that you've done, No. 1 5
