Senior day Saturday afternoon at Ohio State brought a new attendance record for Ohio Stadium, at 108,975 large in the 'Shoe. It should come as no surprise, considering the magnitude of the game against Michigan State, as well as Braxton Miller's last game in Columbus.
RECORD-SETTING night in #TheShoe 108,975 attendance tonight is the largest in stadium history! THANK YOU & #GoBucks pic.twitter.com/5KoHC7UhCw

The official capacity for Ohio Stadium is 104,944, so for the Bucks to fit in over 108,000 is pretty good. The previous record for attendance was just last season against Michigan, when 108,610 filled up Ohio Stadium to watch the Buckeyes knock off the Wolverines, 42-28.
The record was almost snapped earlier this season when the Buckeyes blacked out Penn State with an attendance of 108,423. It is appropriate though, that the record was set on this momentous senior day, and extremely meaningful game in terms of hoping to repeat as national champions.
