Those who enjoy watching Ohio State at night have had plenty of opportunities, as the Buckeyes were slotted in prime time against Virginia Tech, Penn State, Rutgers, and Minnesota. But after three straight evening tilts, Ohio State will be returning to a more familiar, earlier time slot in their next game. Ohio State's matchup with Illinois will be set for 12 p.m eastern, on ABC.
This marks just the second noon game for Ohio State so far, with the other being their homecoming game against Maryland, which Ohio State won 49-28 after starting slowly. The season finale, a trip to Ann Arbor to face the Michigan Wolverines, will also be a noon game. Ohio State's final regular season content, their home finale against Michigan State, has not yet had an announced kickoff time, but our money would be on a 3:30 kick, rather than another primetime game.
Illinois is currently 5-4, and 2-3 in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes have beaten Illinois seven consecutive times, including last year, when they won 55-14 in Columbus.
